From an early age, Sharon was drawn to technology and innovation. She built a successful career in software development, where she applied analytical thinking and creative problem-solving to develop technology solutions. Working in a field where women and minorities were underrepresented strengthened her determination to open doors for others and reinforced her belief that education and opportunity can transform lives.

Seeking work that aligned more closely with her heart for serving others, Sharon later entered the caregiving industry. Alongside her partner, she co-founded a compassionate home care business dedicated to serving individuals and families with dignity and excellence. Under her leadership, the company experienced significant growth while remaining focused on providing high-quality care. This experience deepened her understanding that true success is measured not only by financial achievement but by the lives we impact.

Sharon’s life changed dramatically in 2017 when she suffered a massive stroke and cardiac arrest, resulting in a lengthy hospitalization, a coma, and years of rehabilitation. The experience left her with expressive aphasia, requiring tremendous perseverance to rebuild her life and communication. Rather than allowing adversity to define her future, Sharon embraced recovery with determination and a renewed sense of purpose.

Her health journey transformed the way she viewed wealth. She realized that financial security is not simply about accumulating money; it is about protecting families, preparing for life’s uncertainties, and creating opportunities that can bless future generations. Inspired by her beloved grandmother, Barnetta, who lived to the age of 103 and modeled faithful stewardship through wise financial decisions and unwavering faith, Sharon began developing what would become Legacy Wealth Family Bank™.

Today, Sharon combines decades of experience in technology, entrepreneurship, business development, and digital marketing to educate families on biblical stewardship, financial literacy, family governance, and legacy planning. Through books, workbooks, educational programs, workshops, and digital resources, she teaches practical strategies that help families protect what they have, grow wisely, and pass on both wealth and values.

Guided by Scripture and enriched by the wisdom of her Baptist faith, her family’s legacy, and the importance of community, Sharon believes that every family, regardless of where they begin, can create a meaningful legacy through consistent stewardship, education, and intentional planning.
